Yes — free to download and use, with no account and no ads. And a promise: everything that is free today stays free. If we ever add paid features, they will be genuinely new additions, never things taken away from you.

Your data is stored locally on your device. There is no account, no sign-up and no tracking — we never see your data. More in our privacy policy.

Because your data lives on your device, use the export function in Settings to create a backup file from time to time. Import restores it on a new device. There is no cloud sync yet — it is planned as an optional feature later.

The purchase price is spread over the time you keep an item, taking its end of life (sale, disposal) into account. You see the honest cost per day for each item — and for everything you own combined.

It is the amount you should have saved by a given date so replacements and planned purchases never catch you off guard. whaaat shows it for today and as a curve over the next five years — tap or drag the curve to read any date.

whaaat is available in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. The currency can be changed in the settings.

whaaat launches on iPhone first. An installable web version for Android (PWA) is in the works — it will run in the browser and can be added to the home screen like a normal app.
